A 22-year-old Lawton man will spend eight years behind bars after pleading guilty to impregnating a girl when she was 14 years old.
On Tuesday, Tristian Cole Von Brown pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree rape before Comanche County Chief District Judge Grant Sheperd.
Sheperd sentenced Brown to 15 years under the Oklahoma Department of Corrections with eight years to serve and seven years suspended, records indicate. He also will have two years of supervised release and will have to register as a sex offender.
Brown pleaded guilty to having sex with the teen girl, causing her to get pregnant. After the girl gave birth, DNA samples submitted from her, the infant and Tristian, showed that Tristian cannot be excluded with a 99.9 percent probability as the biological father, the affidavit states.
Brown had been free on $50,000 bond since June 27, 2023.
Sheperd ordered Brown to have no contact with the teen or their daughter during the entire sentence.
