Lawton man pleads to inappropriate relationship with girl

A 24-year-old Lawton man pleaded guilty Thursday to soliciting and engaging in a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl when he was 17.

Brad Allen Hoskins pleaded guilty to a felony count of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor by use of technology.

Following the State’s recommendation, Comanche County District Judge Scott D. Meaders sentenced Hoskins to 10 years with the Department of Corrections with two years to serve and eight suspended followed by three years of DOC supervision. He will also have to register as a sex offender.

The girl told police Hoskins kissed and sexually touched her over the years and they had both sent each other nude photographs, the warrant affidavit states. She remembered May 27, 2017, as the day of her “first kiss and first time she had any sexual interaction with anyone.” She told police they communicated through several social media platforms and the nude photos were exchanged.
