Families of Lawton can “hop along” to Lawton First United Methodist Church for their Easter Egg Hunt April 13 with chances for kids to win scooters or bikes.
The event is from 2-6 p.m. at 2602 NW Ferris.
There will be many different activities throughout the day other than the hunt, including food, music, a bounce house, and more, Ashley Nunes, communications director for the church said. Children ages 0-2 can be put to the side with their parents during the hunt so the parents can take photos with their kids, while the other age groups have free reign to hunt. There will also be two eggs per age group that will have a special raffle ticket with a chance to win a bike or scooter.
“We want to bring the community together, so we’re hoping for a good turnout,” Nunes said.
There will also be vendors selling their wares in order to grow the community, Nunes said.
The event is free and open to the public.
