Lawton AMBUCS will have its 68th Annual Pancake Days from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Great Plains Coliseum, 920 SW Sheridan.
The fundraiser will serve pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, tea and coffee. This is the only fundraiser they have per year. They plan on serving from 4,000 to 5,000 patrons.
AMBUCS is dedicated to helping disabled citizens, especially children, gain access to better mobility by offering therapist-approved therapeutic tricycles and wheelchair accessible ramps, according to Larry Holcomb, Publicity Chairman of the organization. They also offer scholarships to therapy majors such as Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, etc.
Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. Guests can purchase tickets in advance at the Coliseum, the Comanche County Tag Agency at 902 SW 38th and at all Playcare locations.
