The 73rd Korean War memorial remembrance service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Elmer Thomas Park at the Korea War monument.
Guest speaker will be James Kim, Wichita District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church. Lawton Mayor Stan Booker will read a proclamation. Comanche Indian Veterans Association will present the colors and the BMW trio will sing a special song.
Veterans and active duty personnel who served in Korea from 1945 to present and Korean families in Lawton, are invited.
After the service, a luncheon provided by New Light United Methodist and Korean War Veterans Association, will be served.
