ANADARKO — The Kiowa-Apache Blackfoot Society will host a powwow honoring Apache Tribe of Oklahoma member Maleek Houze on Saturday.
Houze, the son of Judy Redbone, is leaving March 25 for Fort Jackson, S.C., to begin Army basic training.
The Blackfeet powwow will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at the Apache Tribal Gymnasium in Anadarko. Supper will be from 6-7 p.m.
