ANADARKO — A meeting is scheduled to set plans for the upcoming return of the American Indian Exposition.
The American Indian Exposition Committee, 1935, will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Apache Tribe AOA Center, 525 E. Colorado, in Anadarko.
This will be an open meeting and those interested in becoming a sponsor or volunteering are welcome to attend.
The American Indian Exposition will be held Oct. 3 through Nov. 2 at the Caddo County Fairgrounds.
The Exposition was an annual event until 2021 when the COVID-19 pandemic closed activities until a scaled back version returned in 2023. Usually held the first weekend in August, this year’s events are scheduled along with a carnival by Great Plains Amusements.
