Troy Hardin posted a quiet 298 game to lead the association in the game category with an 11 in a row result after leaving two pins on his last roll of an otherwise perfect game.

No word on what Hardin was left with that denied the perfecto in the Suburban league at Twin Oaks back on April 11th but it was a game three entry of a 686 series.

Adult League Highlights

Tyler Price rolled the front ten in the TNT league at Thunderbird Lanes to finish off a 777 series with games of 204, 284 and 289 to lead bowlers for high series.

Jim Bomboy was a far cry away with the next highest set of 710, but topped the Suburban league with the outcome on games of 228, 224 and 258.

Brandon Tipton’s efforts that night allowed him a 700 even after starting the night with a 266 score and putting up the ladies high game and series was Misty Jenkins with career high marks.

Jenkins, bowling off a 167 average, had games of 224, 268 and 186 for a 678 series.

The Golden Years league at Twin Oaks finished up last week with Dwight Blair and Brian Taub ending their season with 706’s.

Blair rolled 234, 204 and 268 while Taub shot 268, 224 and 214.

Meanwhile, Archie Williams ended his season with a century award, rolling 100 pins over average with a 279 opening score.

Robert Lawson led in the Tuesday Night Mixed with a 703 on games of 234, 211 and 258, the same total as Dale Perry posted in the Early Birds except that Perry ended up with a near triplicate posting 235, 234 and 234 to make up his 703.

And Tory Morales put the Goodyear league in the news with games of 235, 249 and 217 for a 701.

From the honorable mention file: Terry Davey went 104 pins over average with a 256 game and 119 pins over for series with his 575 series from the Early Birds where Tory Sammons posted her first 600 of the season of 607.

Suburban’s Tricia Bruder had a good night with games of 136, 110 and 173 off a 97 average and Entertainers’ Dean Ellis was on his way to a 290 with a spare in the first frame of his third game, in fact, rolling strikes from the second frame through the first ball of the tenth before an eight count was left on the deck.

Juantae Carnell put games of 165, 212 and 232 on the board for a 609 series off a 156 average in the Goodyear league and if you will remember the top story last week about Matt Ray converting the 7-10 but missing the 3-6-9 house jackpot?

Well Richard Jacoby made short work of that task in the Socialites league where he went 225, 226 and 225 for a near triplicate and a 3-6-9 Jackpot win.

Youth Bowling

Kalan Hicks was just shy of the 600 mark with 591 on games of 215, 213 and 163 from the TBird Legends.

The TBird HotShots league reported career highs for Cash Hill who picked up a new bowling ball and rolled 135, 191 and 130 for a 456 series off a 109 average.

Lee Perry was the HotShots series high roller with games of 138, 179 and 178 for a 495 and Wil-liam Hern posted a career high 123 game in the TBird MiniShots.

Knox Hill had a 118 game and Ellie Madden had a 104 in the bumper assist MiniShots.

On a side note, we would like to take this spot to thank Chris and Jessica Lindsey who donated a $50 gift card from Riverside Cafe in return for donations to the Thunderbird Youth Bowling Program.

Gary Sammons noted that the Early Birds league was proud to present $125 to the youth program and the bowlers who are the future of our sport!
