OKLAHOMA CITY – The Multi-County Grand Jury has indicted four men in a pair of robberies for allegedly stealing cash and marijuana from two Oklahoma marijuana grow operations.
Geane Johnson Jr., 25, Herbert Lee Morris Jr., 20, Anthony Jermaine Rainger, 21, and Ameil Jordan Elijah Rainger, 20, each face multiple felony counts for allegedly robbing Butter Cookies LLC in Marlow on June 25 and Fuda2020 LLC in Alex on June 29. The men are accused of stealing cash and bundles of packaged marijuana from each business in association with the Murder I Blood street gang.
“These crimes are among the many dangerous activities we are seeing across our state following the legalization of medical marijuana,” said Attorney General Gentner Drummond. “My office is committed to stamping out these crimes and holding accountable those who are endangering public safety.”
The accused face nine felony counts of conspiracy to commit first degree robbery, first degree robbery, first degree burglary, assault while masked or in disguise, commission of a gang-related offense and engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses. Johnson and Morris also face a count of possession of a firearm during a felony.
The men are believed to be connected to other robberies that are currently under investigation.
Every person arrested or indicted is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
