Fort Sill will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony Monday on the Old Post Quadrangle.
The ceremony begins at 6 p.m. with Santa scheduled to arrive at 6:05 p.m. The tree lighting will follow at 6:10 p.m.
Several special performances also are set after the tree is lit. Performances include the 77th Army Band, Eisenhower High School Drumline, Freedom Elementary, New Post Chapel and Lawton High School Drumline.
Other events include pictures with Santa and story time with Santa’s elves. Refreshments such as cookies and cocoa, beer and Gluhwein will be available. Be Fit food truck also will be there.
Visitors are welcome at the ceremony, but must have Department of Defense-issued ID. IDs are available at the visitor center.
