An arrest warrant issued Wednesday accuses a former Dollar General Store manager with stealing almost $7,000 from her store.
The Comanche County District Court issued a felony arrest warrant for Fealicie Renee Smith, 30, of Lawton, with a count of embezzlement, records indicate. The crime is punishable by up to five years in prison, fines and court costs and restitution.
A Dollar General Store District Manager filed a report Nov. 17, 2023, regarding the former store manager at 2202 Fort Sill Blvd. He discovered that bank deposits were stolen between Nov. 10 and 13, 2023, the arrest affidavit states.
The manager had been notified by corporate about the three missing bank deposits. Deposits are to be made the same day at the bank and these were being made several days later, the affidavit states. The missing deposits totaled $6,862.63, Lawton Police Detective David Folkert stated.
A $50,000 cash warrant bond was issued upon Smith’s arrest.
