Fisher59, a leading beverage distributor headquartered in Denton, Texas, will expand its operations in Lawton.

The company will invest more than $16 million in a new 110,000-square-foot warehouse located within the Lawton Economic Development Corporation’s (LEDC) Airport Industrial Park in south Lawton. This expansion will accommodate a recently acquired product line and support continued growth, company officials said.

“We look forward to Fisher59 having a presence in Lawton for many years,” said Brad Cooksey, president and CEO of LEDC. “The LEDC Airport Industrial Park is located directly off of I-44 and offers a unique combination of air and interstate access, making this a strategic location for Fisher59 and other companies looking to increase the efficiency of their distribution network and leverage existing infrastructure. We’re excited about the new jobs coming to the area and that their investment will further contribute to Lawton’s economy.”

The new facility will support Fisher59’s existing workforce of 60-plus employees in Lawton and accommodate future growth, ultimately adding additional workforce over the course of the next 10 years, officials said. Construction of the warehouse will begin immediately and is expected to be completed within one year.

“We’re excited about the construction of our new facility in Lawton,” said Brett Walford, president of Fisher59 Properties. “As we approach our 40th year of operation in this community, we are proud to expand to better serve our customers and support local economic growth. Over the past 39 years, the support and partnership of the Lawton community have been instrumental in our success and we look forward to building on that relationship!”

“We are thrilled to see Fisher59 grow their operations in Lawton, particularly within the LEDC Airport Industrial Park,” said Lawton Mayor Stan Booker. “This investment is a testament to the strength of our business climate, our talented workforce, and the value proposition offered by the industrial park. We look forward to Fisher59 being a major employer and community partner for years to come.”

Fisher59 is a leading beverage distributor headquartered in Denton, Texas, serving communities across Oklahoma and Texas. The company offers a wide variety of beverages, including beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. Information is available at the company’s website: https://fisher59.com/.
