ANADARKO — A Caddo County wreck that killed an Oklahoma City woman is under investigation, including who was driving the vehicle.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Billie J. Butler, 35, died Saturday night at the scene of the wreck on U.S. 281, a ½-mile north of Anadarko. Her body was taken to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s office in Oklahoma City for autopsy.
Butler, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died in a Chevrolet Tahoe, Trooper Ryan Hayes reported. What happened to cause the wreck and her condition remain under investigation.
Both, north and southbound lanes of U.S. 281 were closed for three hours and 42 minutes following the wreck.
