DUNCAN — A Stephens County man is out on bond for charges relating to allegations he sexually harassed a worker under his charge at a fast food restaurant.
Christopher Alton Brown, 42, of Duncan, made his initial appearance Tuesday in Stephens County District Court where he received a felony charge of sexual battery, and a trio of misdemeanor charges of harassment by use of an electronic device, records indicate. The felony is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
While working as a manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Duncan, Brown is accused sexually harassing a female employee in March 2022. She told police on several occasions, he would get her alone in the cooler unnecessarily and come up behind her at the drive-thru window and touch her inappropriately, the probable cause affidavit states.
After leaving that job, the woman said, Brown would text her sexually explicit messages over messenger, describing in great detail sexual acts he wanted to commit with her, Deputy Ronald Pruitt stated. The woman said she didn’t respond to him but told her mother and blocked him on Facebook.
Out on an own recognizance bond with the order to have no contact with the woman, Brown is ordered to return to court at 9 a.m. Jan. 8, 2025, for her preliminary hearing conference.
