Oklahoma residents who want to vote in the Nov. 5 General Election have until Oct. 11 to file their application forms with their county election board offices.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must be U.S. citizens, residents of Oklahoma and at least 17 1/2 years old (but must be 18 years old to vote on election day). Applications must be received by county election boards or postmarked no later than midnight, Oct. 11 for General Election eligibility. Those received after that date will be processed after the election.
Approved voters will receive a voter ID card in the mail. Those who do not receive their cards within 30 days of submitting an application should call their election board.
