Duncan police officers graduate holistic health program

DUNCAN — Through the nonprofit organization, Faith in Action Inc, Duncan Police Department officers received C2CReset Achievement flags upon graduating the faith based holistic health coaching program.

The program provides first responders with strategies for mental health, wellness, and weight loss, according to Loisdawn Johnes, City of Duncan director of communications.

Brian Wellbrock, founder of C2CReset stated he recently had the honor of taking eight members of the Duncan Police Department through our 13-week course. Collectively, the eight participants lost over 170 pounds and saw dramatic improvements in overall health and stress management.

“Having worked with law enforcement agencies all over the country, I can say the dedication and level of participation among the officers at Duncan Police Department was amazing,” he said. “Every person who started, finished, with lasting results physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The community of Duncan is truly blessed to have such an amazing team of brave men and women. They genuinely care about their community.”

Chief of Police Brian Attaway, as a graduate of the program, called the course “extremely challenging, mentally, and physically.”

“I couldn’t be prouder of our class and the achievements we made that will make us better police officers for the citizens of Duncan,” he said. “It challenged us in all aspects of life, and we all grew mentally, physically, and spiritually.”

Attaway called the instructor, Brian Wellbrock, “a wealth of information” and said he remained incredibly encouraging for each one during the entire course.

“I offer my congratulations to Lieutenant Parker, Sergeant Lard, Officer Burchfield, Detectives Hicks and Newman, and Sergeants Arnold and Smith for their dedication to this program and their commitment to our community,” he said.
