NINNEKAH — A Duncan woman is in an Oklahoma City hospital following a Sunday night motorcycle wreck in southern Grady County.
Laura A. Robinson, 50, was taken to Grady County Memorial Hospital and later flown to OU Medical Center where she was admitted in good condition with head, neck and limb injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Robinson was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on U.S. 81 shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday when, for an unknown reason, she went left, struck the cable barrier and came to rest on its inside shoulder, about 2 miles north of Ninnekah, Trooper Sooner Harmon reported. The driver, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected for about 19 feet.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
