MEDICINE PARK — A Manitou motorcyclist is in good condition after a Saturday night wreck with a guardrail in northern Comanche County.
Benjamin G. Gaskill, 46, was admitted to Comanche County Memorial Hospital in good condition with arm and leg injuries, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Gaskill was driving a Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Oklahoma 115 around 6:40 p.m. Saturday when he went off the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail just south of Northwest Meers/Porter Hill Road, about 7 miles northwest of Medicine Park, Trooper Morgan Harp reported. Gaskill was not wearing a helmet.
Harp reported the driver had been drinking and cited driving under the influence as the cause of the wreck.
