A person died in a Lawton bathtub and police are awaiting an autopsy to determine cause of death.
Police and first responders were called around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning to a home on Northwest 26th Street regarding a possible drowning.
The unidentified person was found unresponsive in a bathtub and was unable to be resuscitated by first responders.
The body was taken to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City for autopsy to determine cause of death, said Sgt. Christopher Blessing, Lawton Police information officer.
