The Comanche County Assessor’s office received notification it earned a perfect score on the 2024 state audit.
The annual audit conducted by the Oklahoma Tax Commission includes 10 random questions as well as an Equalization Study. The audit takes approximately seven months to complete. Of the 77 counties, only six received a perfect score on the 2024 audit.
Comanche County Assessor Grant Edwards said this is the sixth year Comanche County has earned a perfect score. Edwards said he attributes this outstanding accomplishment to his highly qualified, dedicated staff.
