FLETCHER — The Comanche Indian Veterans Association (CIVA) will have an Indian taco sale to raise funds for an 80th Anniversary D-Day trip to France.
The sale is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Fletcher Community Building, 504 Cole Avenue in Fletcher.
“The CIVA France Delegation are raising funds to attend the 80th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France, and to honor our Comanche Code Talkers at Utah Beach,” said Commander Kevin Pohawpatchoko.
Cost is $8 for a taco plate to include a drink and dessert with a choice of Coke, Dr Pepper or Diet Coke; and $2 for frybread alone.
