The Comanche County Republican Party will hold a precinct meeting and the county convention Saturday.
The sessions are set from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Sunset Room of the Prairie Building at the Comanche County Fairgrounds, 920 S. Sheridan.
Activities will include election of precinct chairs and vice chairs, and election of the county chair and other officers for the county GOP, said Terry Evans, CCGOP chair.
“The event is open to all registered, card-carrying Republicans in Comanche County,” Evans said. “We have spent the last year in successful efforts to elect worthy Republicans to local and state offices, and wound up the year with the amazing re-election of Donald Trump as the fourty-seventh president of the United States.”
Those who attend Saturday’s session will go through the credentialing process, beginning at 8 a.m., in order to attend and vote. Attendees must have valid IDs and/or a voter registration card. Once through the registration process, attendees will take their seats with other county precinct members at marked tables.
Coffee, tea and water will be available.
