The new location for the Comanche County GOP headquarters will open at 3 p.m. Saturday at 431 SW C.
“We’re all excited to show off our new Headquarters,” said Terry Evans, chairman of the Comanche County GOP. “We welcome all registered Republicans and those who are interested in registering to vote to join us for refreshments and share the excitement of the day. Several surprise elected officials will attend to meet visitors and talk about their concerns for our county and the state.”
Evans said GOP members have worked like elephants to get the new location up and running. New furniture and other necessary equipment were donated, and shelves and tables are stacked with T-shirts, yard signs, bumper stickers, hats and more merchandise that is available for donations by interested visitors, Evans said. The headquarters will be staffed with volunteers, precinct chairs and committee members.
Operational hours are noon to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
“Comanche County Republicans are experiencing a new and exciting opportunity to be a part of this very important presidential election in November. It is vital that we register early to vote. Your registration must be accepted at the Comanche County Election Board by Oct. 11 in order for your vote to count,” Evans said.
