(Duncan, Oklahoma) – The Annual Main Street Duncan Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec, 7 at 3 p.m. with the theme of “Christmas Characters.”
“We’re excited to see the community come together and bring their creativity to this year’s parade. It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to celebrate the holiday season together,” said Brandi Johnson, Executive Director.
Like last year, participation in the parade requires pre-registration. “It was a big change last year, but we received a lot of positive feedback about how pre-registering made the day go much smoother, so we will again be implementing the requirement for pre-registration.”
To participate in the parade, pre-registration is required and there is no fee to participate. To pre-register for the Main Street Duncan parade, complete the application located on the Main Street Duncan website, mainstreetduncan.com by Monday, Nov. 25. Main Street Duncan will not allow any day-of registrations. All participants are encouraged to take part in the theme and entries will receive extra judging points for doing so. The complete list of rules and judging criteria will be listed on the website and the organization’s Facebook page, so participants can decorate to win.
Anyone with questions about participation, can call the Main Street Duncan office at (580) 252-8696 during office hours of Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
