A Lawton man will serve 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing a large amount of child pornography.
Daniel Moran Nauni, 43, of Lawton, pleaded guilty in Comanche County District Court on Nov. 8 to a felony count of aggravated possession of child pornography, records indicate.
Presiding District Judge Emmit Tayloe sentenced Nauni to serve 10 years in prison with credit for time served and will pay a $1,000 fine.
Nauni has been held on $100,000 bond since his initial court appearance May 31, 2022.
An Internet Crimes Against Children hit from the CyberTipline resulted in Lawton police beginning an investigation into Nauni’s electronic devices. Investigators said they found a large cache of illegal images during a search.
