CARNEGIE — Three people are in critical condition at an Oklahoma City hospital from a Friday night wreck in Caddo County that remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle wreck that happened around 9:45 p.m. on Oklahoma 58, 1 ½-miles north of Carnegie, remains under investigation, Trooper Ryan Hayes reported.
The first vehicle involved was a Nissan Altima driven by Damian K. Rodger, 20, of Carnegie. He was flown to OU Medical Center and admitted in critical condition with head, arms, leg and internal trunk injuries, according to the report. He was not using a seatbelt.
Sunni C. Phillips, 19, of Lawton, was driving a Toyota Yaris when the wreck happened, according to Hayes. She was also flown to OU Medical and admitted in critical condition with leg injuries. Her passenger, Kelsey G. Knight, 19, of Piedmont, too, was transported to OU Medical where she was admitted in critical condition with arm and leg injuries, the report states.
The women were wearing seatbelts, Hayes reported. They were both pinned inside the Toyota until freed by Twin Cities firefighters using the Hurst Tool.
The condition of the driver and collision’s cause remain under investigation.
