Cameron University is having their annual Giving Tuesday, a national day of charitable support, Dec. 3.
The charitable event rallies people around the world to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen communities while making a positive impact in the lives of area college students, according to a press release.
“The Cameron University Foundation is excited to participate in Giving Tuesday for the eighth consecutive year,” Julie Cunningham, Director of Alumni and Development said. “Giving Tuesday marks the start of the season of giving and focuses on creating a culture of philanthropy, gratitude and giving back.”
All gifts received will be earmarked for the Aggie Fund, which provides students with scholarships, provides faculty support and helps to enhance campus facilities to provide better learning opportunities, the release said.
Gifts can be made online at https://www.cameron.edu/foundation, where the “Give Now” link will direct donors to a secure, online credit card form. Gifts can also be mailed to Cameron University Foundation, Office of University Advancement, 2800 W. Gore Blvd., Administration 245, Lawton, OK 73505.
