Cameron University Speech and Debate team traveled to Tulsa Community College to compete in the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Forensic Association State Tournament. The team, consisting of Logan Edward, Lanique Magee, Dominic Mann and Nolan Martin, faced competitors from 10 schools.
The release said that in the JV IPDA Debate, Martin made it to the finals and finished in second place. Magee was a semi-finalist, with Edwards winning a fourth place Speaker Award. Both Edwards and Martin placed fourth in Duo Interpretation.
The release said Edwards is a junior political science major from Lawton. Martin is a junior business major from Lawton. Magee is a freshman from Oklahoma City and Mann is a sophomore journalism major from Lawton.
