Individuals from all walks of life who want to enter the teaching profession are encouraged to attend “CU Become a Teacher”.
The virtual workshop will present the multiple pathways to becoming a certified teacher. The Zoom presentation will take place at 5 p.m. Oct. 3 and will offer information to those who have a college degree, those who have earned college credit but have yet to earn a degree, and those who have yet to earn college credit.

“There are numerous pathways to earning teacher certification in Oklahoma,” said Stacie Garrett, chair of the CU Department of Education. “Because the pathways have changed over the past few years, we want to make sure that aspiring teachers understand the most applicable pathway to entering the profession.”
