ANADARKO — A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Lawton woman for methamphetamine trafficking, among other charges.
Jennifer Lynn Walker, a.k.a. Jennifer Lynn Peeler, 41, made her initial appearance Tuesday in Caddo County District Court where she received felony counts of methamphetamine trafficking, possession of a firearm after former felony conviction, bringing drugs into jail and identity theft, as well as misdemeanor counts of having a lost or mislaid credit/debit card and obstructing police, records indicate.
Walker was arrested following a traffic stop shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday while en route to Anadarko from Cyril. During a search of the vehicle, a glass pipe used for smoking meth was found. A bag of meth and a loaded gun were found in a backpack, according to the probable cause affidavit. During questioning, Walker told investigators her name was Jennifer Robinson.
Arrested and during booking into the Caddo County jail, Walker admitted to having more meth stuffed inside her pants, the affidavit states. In total, investigators claimed she had 29 grams of meth with her at the time of arrest.
Under the name of Jennifer Peeler, Walker has a September 2007 conviction in Comanche County District Court for possession of a stolen vehicle, and prior December 2009 felony convictions from December 2009 for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, according to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records.
Walker returns to court at 9 a.m. Aug. 29 for her preliminary hearing conference.
