Caddo County man accused of raping, assaulting ex-girlfriend

ANADARKO — Accused of choking and raping his teen ex-girlfriend and destroying her phone and glasses, a 19-year-old Caddo County man is in jail on $100,000 bond.

Louie Gabriel Norris, of Anadarko, made his initial appearance Tuesday morning in Caddo County District Court where he received felony charges of first-degree rape and domestic assault and battery by strangulation as well as a misdemeanor count of malicious injury to property over $1,000, records indicate. The rape charge is punishable by between five years to life in prison.

The 16-tear-old girl told police she’d stayed the night of Oct. 19 with her ex-boyfriend, Norris. She said he’d been drinking and when they were in his room, she had a drink and they smoked marijuana. When she laid down to go to sleep, she said Norris pulled down her pants and underwear and had sex without her consent, the probable cause affidavit states. When he stopped, she said he became angry and started throwing her clothes and other items.

The girl said Norris became enraged, slapped her across the face, grabbed her aggressively and began choking her. She said he broke her glasses and smashed her iPhone with a dumbbell and stopped when his grandmother came into the room, the affidavit states. The girl said she ran from the home.

Anadarko Police Officer Jordan Tate stated the girl had injuries to her throat, chest, right upper arm and on her right knee, as well as a knot on her head, according to the affidavit.

A search of Norris’ room by police turned up the girl’s crushed glasses as well as other items she’d left behind, Tate stated.

When he was taken into custody and informed of the charges, Norris responded with “okay,” the affidavit states.

Norris returns to court at 9 a.m. Jan. 16, 2025, for his preliminary hearing conference, records indicate.
