Alexandria Biscaino held true to her name taking first place in the U18 Girl division of the 2024 Pepsi Youth Championship tournament that was held at Route 66 Bowl in El Reno over a two weekend time period because of its popularity.
Ali went in on a 166 average and rolled six games of 126, 245, 224, 192, 200 and 172 for a winning scratch series of 1159 for a $400 scholarship and an entry into the annual Junior Gold Tournament held in Detroit, MI this year.
Biscaino had to decline the entry which in turn went to the next place finisher but is pleased with bragging rights as this is her fourth career win in this prestigious event.
Other local bowlers to place in this event include Lee Perry who won a $75 scholarship with a 3rd place finish in the U10 Boy division for a 369 score and Kennedi Hicks tied for second with a 291 score in the U10 Girl division for a $112.50 scholarship.
Honorable mention in the U12 Boy group (4 games) goes to DJ Scott who was a pin out of cashing with a 902 score for fourth.
This event is and always has been a scratch tournament for youth bowlers however a handicap division was added for extra scholarship funds where Biscaino picked up another $110 scholarship for a handicap score of 1283.
Congratulations to her and to all of the bowlers for their efforts.
