A barrier arm at Cameron Village at Cameron University needs to be repaired after being damaged on Sunday.
The barrier arm allows students and other authorized individuals with access cards to enter the parking lot to the east of Cameron Village.
“Apparently, somebody ran through it,” Janet Williams, director of media relations at Cameron University, said. She said parts have been ordered to fix the arm.
Williams said that Cameron’s Department of Public Safety is increasing the number of patrols in that area and said that security cameras are in place.
