A Saturday morning ATV wreck west of Cache that hospitalized a Lawton woman is under investigation.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Brittiny N. Cameron, 34, of Lawton, was taken to Comanche County Memorial Hospital before being transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in fair condition with internal trunk injuries.
Cameron was the passenger on a Polaris ATV driven by Darla D. Tracy that was traveling eastbound on West Lee Boulevard shortly after 6:45 a.m. Saturday that went off the dirt roadway to the left, struck an embankment and a barbed wire fence before rolling an unknown number of times before coming to rest on its top just west of Southwest Post Oak Road, 3 miles west of Cache, Trooper Spencer Sperling reported.
Tracy, 44, of Lawton, was treated and released from Comanche County Memorial Hospital, the report states.
The condition of the driver, cause of the collision and if anyone was ejected remain under investigation, according to Sperling’s report..
