OKLAHOMA CITY — Area legislators are among the Oklahoma senators who have been named to Senate committees for the upcoming 60th Legislature that begins in February, said Senate Pro Tem-Elect Lonnie Paxton, R-Tuttle.
Assignments include:
Sen. Dusty Deevers, R-Elgin: Vice chair, Revenue and Taxation; member of Education, Administrative Rules, and Appropriations Subcommittee on Education.
Sen. Brent Howard, R-Altus: Chair, Judiciary; vice chair, Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Safety and Judiciary; member of Revenue and Taxation, Rules, Appropriations, and Veterans and Military Affairs.
Sen. Spencer Kern, R-Duncan: Member of Agriculture and Wildlife, Public Safety, Energy, and Appropriations Subcommittee on OMES.
Sen. Darcy Jech, R-Kingfisher: Chair, Aerospace and Transportation; vice chair, Technology and Telecommunications; chair, Rural Caucus; member of Public Safety, Judiciary, Appropriations, and Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources.
Sen. Kendal Sacchieri, R-Blanchard: Member of Revenue and Taxation, Education, Local and County Government, Appropriations, Administrative Rules, and Appropriations Subcommittee on Select Agencies.
