ANADARKO — Applications will be taken beginning Monday for those seeking posts with the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma during its upcoming general election.
The Apache Business Committee positions are: Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary/Treasurer and two Committee Members. Two positions for the Housing Commission are also up for election. The filing fee is $200 for any of these posts.
Applicants seeking any of these positions must be an enrolled member of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and be 25-years or older.
The filing period begins Monday and closes at 4 p.m. Feb. 16.
Filing Fees are non-refundable and must be paid in the form of a money order or cashier’s check.
Application will be taken at the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma Election Board office located inside the Apache Tribal Complex, 615 E. Colorado in Anadarko.
