About 100 vendors expected at Lawton’s Largest Garage Sale

Lawton’s Largest Garage Sale is back, and with up to 100 vendors, it is expected to be one of the best sales in its history.

Household items, furniture, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, clothing, kid’s games and toys, lawn and garden items, handmade crafts and much more will be up for grabs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Great Plains Coliseum, 920 S. Sheridan. Admission is $3 on each respective date and free for children 12 and under, according to a release. Five percent of admissions will go to the United Way of Southwest Oklahoma.

“We’ve been hosting this sale for several years,” Dakota Woods, market president of Townsquare Media, the host of the event, said. “I think this year will be one of the best sales as we’ll have nearly 100 vendors and great items for shoppers to browse through. It will definitely be worth checking out and walking away with a bargain.”

Vendors will be located in the main area of the Coliseum. Other events include the Just Between Friends Consignment Sale and the Care 2 Cure Car Show.
