A 30-year-old Lawton man is in jail on $150,000 bond for allegations he repeatedly sexually abused a 10-year-old girl.
Judah Josiah Muse made his initial appearance Thursday in Comanche County District Court where he received felony charges of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16 and sodomy with a victim under the age of 16, records indicate. Each count is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
The girl’s mother reported the allegations to Lawton police on Jan. 25. She said Muse would force the child to watch pornography and would inappropriately touch her, the probable cause affidavit states.
On Monday, the girl spoke in a forensic interview and said Muse forced her to watch videos on Pornhub of “people doing disgusting things to each other,” Detective Justin Johnson stated. She also said he would spoon her while unclothed and tried to have sex with her in different ways, the affidavit states. She said it happened more than once.
During an interview with police, Muse told Johnson he didn’t have any reason to believe the girl lied, “she is just not good at keeping secrets,” according to the affidavit.
As part of Muse’s bond conditions, he is to have no contact with the child. He returns to court at 3 p.m. March 4 for his preliminary hearing conference, records indicate.
