Fidelity Communications launches new internet service with lower fee

Fidelity Communications has lowered monthly internet rates for the majority of Lawton customers with the launch of its new Internet Elevated service.

Additionally, most Lawton customers also received a free speed upgrade, up to 20 times faster than their existing speeds.

The company increased download speeds to 1 Gig for thousands of Fidelity customers, enabling faster surfing, streaming, video conferencing and online gaming performance for a new lower rate of just $49/month. Customers who already subscribe to Fidelity’s Gig high-speed internet plan will continue to experience enhanced speeds at a new lower monthly rate of $49

The company has invested more than $26 million in Lawton over the past three years, building a network with the power and capacity to support the digital future of the customers it serves. Fidelity General Manager Brook McDonald said Fidelity will continue to invest in a new era of innovation that will not only enrich the lives of its customers but contribute to the economic development of the hundreds of cities and towns it serves by laying the groundwork for 10 Gigabit (10G) speeds – internet connectivity more reliable, more secure and 10 times faster than today’s networks.

A proud member of the Lawton community, Fidelity has awarded more than $11,000 in grants to local charitable organizations over the past two years, including Lawton Family YMCA, Family Promise of Lawton and Lawton Mobile Meals, through the company’s Charitable Giving Fund. The Charitable Giving Fund awards $250,000 in grants annually to organizations that support community development, education and digital literacy and hunger relief.
