GRANITE – A Greer County double-shooting is under investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
The District 3 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force requested the OSBI to assist with a double shooting in Granite on Tuesday.
The Granite Police Department responded around 9:30 a.m. to a home near Cottonwood Street and West Seventh Street in Granite. When officers arrived, they discovered an adult male and female with gunshot wounds, according to the OSBI. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals, where they died.
There are no suspects at large and the events leading up to the shooting are still under investigation, according to the OSBI. No other details have been released.
