Lower Illinois: November 25. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 58°F and stained. Rainbow trout fair on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, and PowerBait below the dam. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on caddis flies, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait, and sunfish around channels, coves, docks, points, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, channels, coves, docks, points, rocks, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Striper are biting well on live shad and starting to bite dead sticking. Catfish are good on live shad and cut bait. They are good near ledges and channels.
