After a tough road trip last weekend, Cameron women will return to the friendly confines of the Aggie Gym today for the Lone Star Conference opener against UT-Tyler.
The women hit the court at 5:30 p.m. with CU men to follow around 7:30 p.m.
Last weekend women’s coach Jeff Mahoney flew his club to Denver for a pair of games against tough Rocky Mountain Conference foes Colorado Mines and Regis and the Aggies lost both games to fall to 2-4.
The CU men enter conference with a 3-2 record including a recent victory over long-time rival Southwestern Oklahoma State University by a 68-62 score.
The CU women will be home for a 1 p.m. battle with Texas Woman’s University while the Aggies will face Dallas Baptist at 3 p.m. with both games scheduled at the Aggie Gym.
