Ready to show off your jingle bells and Santa hat?
Officials with the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Southwest Oklahoma are planning their annual Jingle Jog, a 5K race and 1 mile walk set Dec. 9 in Elmer Thomas Park.
Simply stated, the race is for health and for a good cause, while giving participants a chance to show off their holiday spirit in the merriest way possible. Medals will be awarded in the open, military and student divisions, with best overall male and female designated in each division. In addition, there will be first, second and third place designations for each age group. And, there will be a special prize for best costume, said coordinator Jerry Nottingham.
Entry fees are $25 per person through Nov. 17, with the fee to include a t-shirt. Registration will be $30 after that date.
Proceeds will be used to support CASA’s foster care program.
Information is available by contacting Nottingham at (580) 695-7028 or at the CASA office, 1001 SW B, Suite 190
