Two recent deaths at the Comanche County Detention Center are under investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).
OSBI Agent Gerald Davis said the agency was requested to investigate the two deaths that took place Aug. 23 and 24 at the detention center. Cause and manner of death are being scrutinized.
Davis said he can’t elaborate further at this point.
“Once the investigation is complete, we’ll be able to release more information including the names of the inmates,” he said. “As soon as we get this investigation wrapped up, I’ll make sure to let you guys know.”
