Lawton police have identified the victim and accused shooter in a Thursday morning incident at a local hotel.
Ledayle Murff was shot in her upper body during the incident in Room No. 265 at the Executive Inn, 3134 Cache Road, according to Sgt. Christopher Blessing, Lawton Police Department information officer.
Officers were called at 10:13 a.m. Thursday to the lobby of the hotel on the report of a shooting but learned quickly the incident happened at the room on the second tier of the southeast building to the hotel complex.
“When officers arrived, they observed Bryan Krch holding Savannah Krch on the ground, shouting that his girlfriend was shot inside the room,” he said. “Officers located Ledayle Murff with a single gunshot wound to her upper body and immediately administered lifesaving first aid until EMS arrived.”
Murff was taken to a local hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Blessing said she is in stable condition.
Savannah Krch was taken into custody and booked into the city jail. She has not been charged in Comanche County District Court as of noon Friday.
