Haven’t had enough of fireworks?
Two more area displays are planned today to help celebration the nation’s birthday.
The Heroes of America Fireworks Show and Independence Day Celebration is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. today at the Apache Casino Hotel, 3215 E. Gore. The event will feature live entertainment, children’s activities, food vendors and a military flyover. The fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Marlow will hold its Old-Fashioned Independence Day Celebration from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. in Redbud Park, 112 N. Elm. The event begins with a parade down Main Street, before moving to the park to offer family-friendly activities such as games, rides, arts and crafts displays, and food vendors. The fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.
