Would you welcome Marcus into your home?
Marcus has been waiting for a long time for someone to welcome him into their home.
He is a 3-year-old medium-sized mixed breed, who is friendly with adults and older kids, but comes off as a tad shy at first. He would do well as a homebody as he tends to get severe anxiety while taking walks. He enjoys spending his days lounging on his dog bed, chewing on tough toys, playing in the fenced yard, and soaking up love from people instead.
Marcus would do best in a home where he is the only pet. Come check out his adorable smile, witness the way his eyes light up, and watch him tap dance with excitement when he gets a visitor. Marcus is neutered, current on vaccinations, and ready to go to his new home. Adoption fee is $30.

Elgin Animal Shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
