The Cache Police Department stated that around 8:15 p.m., officers responded to the incident on Northwest Crater Creek Road.
Raymond Martin, 55, was driving the scooter northbound when, police said, he failed to yield at a stop sign and struck the fender of a vehicle driven by an unidentified teen. He was thrown over 50 feet from the scooter by the impact.
Martin was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
