MacArthur High School and Eisenhower High School will have new head principals when school resumes in August.
Kallan Glasglow, head principal at Eisenhower Middle School, will replace Jay Lehr at Eisenhower High School. Lehr, who has been head principal at EHS since 2021, has announced his retirement.
Andrea Tracy, an assistant principal at Eisenhower High School, will replace Danny Smith at MacArthur High School. Smith, who has been head principal at MHS since 2021, will become assistant principal at the Life Ready Center.
Glasgow has been with Lawton Public Schools since November 2021 when he was hired as a math teacher at Central Middle School. He began his teaching career as a math teacher and coach in Cache in 2010 and served in the same capacity at Snyder Public Schools and Riverside Indian School in Anadarko. He served as principal at Riverside from August 2017 to November 2021. He was named head principal at Eisenhower Middle School in May 2022.
Tracy has been an assistant principal at EHS since 2019. She taught science and math at MHS from 2015 to 2018 and served as an assistant principal at Lawton High School from 2018-2019.
The changes will be effective July 1.
