Pae named director of Asian Chamber of Commerce

OKLAHOMA CITY — Rep. Daniel Pae has been named executive director of the Greater Oklahoma City Asian Chamber of Commerce.

The OKC Asian Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint Pae, a Lawton Republican, after a comprehensive search. He assumes the role immediately, ensuring a seamless transition in leadership, chamber officials said.

Officials said Pae brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to the chamber. He has served on the board of directors since September 2023, actively contributing as advocacy chair and leading the organization of key events at the State Capitol, including Lattes and Legislation and Advocacy Day.

“Daniel’s dedication to our mission and his proven leadership skills make him the ideal choice to lead the OKC Asian Chamber of Commerce,” said Victor Flores, president of the OKC Asian Chamber board. “His experience within the community and his passion for fostering economic growth will be invaluable as we continue to serve our members.”

Pae’s commitment to public service extends beyond the chamber, officials said.

He serves House District 62 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, frequently spending time in Oklahoma City. He also is a member of Leadership OKC’s LOYAL Class 19 and a founder of the Legislative Asian American and Pacific Islander Caucus.
